Partnership Spotlight: Corvac Composites – A Growing Relationship

Corvac Composites manufactures underbody aero panels, under engine panels, and wheel arch liners that provide noise absorption for companies like Honda, Hyundai, Toyota, Chrysler and other automakers. These parts provide tremendous barriers to air, water, and other road debris and don’t lose performance over time like textiles.  It’s a growing business with many challenges, one of which is attracting and retaining quality employees.  Corvac found a partner it can count on in OHP Work Care.  For many years, OHP has provided post-offer drug testing, physical exams, work-related injury care and on-site hearing testing for Corvac.  “It’s a great relationship,” said April Graves, Human Resources Manager for Corvac.  “We rely on OHP to help us select the right person for the job and assist in getting them back to work if they do become injured on the job,” continued Ms. Graves.

“Morgantown is an easy 20-minute drive from our Nashville road facility,” said Charles Fortney, OHP President of Administrative Services.  “And with Corvac employees located all over this region, OHP’s three locations make it more convenient to provide those services close to where they live,” said Fortney.  The relationship is expanding as OHP is examining job functions and ergonomics to design stretching and physical demands programs to prevent injuries.  “OHP works with a number of area industries and we can share best practices that can benefit everyone involved,” said Fortney.  You may contact OHP Work Care for more on these services.
